Tier System Empty Tier System

Mon Jan 18, 2021 5:32 pm

[TIER 5/E / N00B RANK]

This is for like, Canon-Fodder Normies and Students/Young wannabe Ninja's. Don't get this tier. Plznokthx.

[TIER 4/D / NOVICE RANK]

4-5 ~ You're now the runt of the litter! You probably even know a Jutsu ho-ho! You're still in Ninja School learning Ninja stuff at this tier, so be forewarned, you're not even a Genin! Pre-Shippuden Konohamuru is a great example of this tier.

4-4 ~ You're learning! You're almost a Genin, you know a couple Jutsu, and are about to be assigned to a squad/are a below average member of the squad.

4-3 ~ You are probably in the process of being assigned a squad, or are part of one. You are finally a beginner Genin, but just an average one. Someone like Sakura, or Ino, or even someone like Hinata in the very beginning would be in this tier. In reference to jutsu's at this point you would be considered a C-rank shinobi

4-2 ~ You're somewhere in between the average starter Genin and a prodigy, someone like Shikamaru when he was assigned to a squad would fall here. Maybe even beginner Naruto since he wasn't technically what he ended up being, though this is presuming no Biju.

4-1 ~ A prodigious Genin, someone like Sasuke, Neji, et cetera when they were first starting out.

[TIER 3/C / APPRENTICE RANK]

3-5 ~ The lower end of Chunin Exam Participants.  Ino, or Sakura are great examples of this tier. Oh or the fodder from the rain village. Ha, those fuckin' jobbers. In all actuality these participants have a very low chance of passing, but can be recommended for the exam all the same.

3-4 ~ Below average Chunin Exam participants would fall here, they're not awful, but their odds of passing are still very slim and they are unlikely to get the nod in the end. .

3-3 ~ Your average Chunin Exam Participants, the Sound Ninja that Sasuke wrecked, Kiba, Choji, all valid reference points for this tier.

3-2 ~ An above average participant in the Chunin Exams, but not quite what one might call a prodigy. Shikamaru, Temari, Kankuro in the Chunin Exams would all be valid examples of this tier.

3-1 ~ Prodigious participants in the Chunin Exams would fall here. Neji and Rock Lee in the Chunin Exams would fall here.

[TIER 2/B / ADEPT RANK]

2-5 ~ People whom will almost certainly pass the Chunin Exams without a hitch if they haven't already. People like Sasuke while he was in the Chunin Exams, or simply your average Chunin.

2-4 ~ An above average Chunin, probably being groomed for a spot as a Special Jonin or potentially to become a member of the Anbu by this point. Iruka and Ebisu are good examples of this tier.

2-3 ~ High end Chunin/Beginner Special Jonin/Anbu can be found at this tier. Sai in Shippuden would be good example of this tier.

2-2 ~ Somewhat seasoned Anbu/Special Jonin would check in roughly around this tier. Early Shippuden Kankuro would probably slot in somewhere roughly within this range.

2-1 ~  Your average Special Jonin/Anbu member probably slots in here, you're starting to be recognized for your skills and will soon enough become a Jonin!

[TIER 1/A / EXPERT RANK]

1-5 ~ A beginner Jonin ready and capable for most missions. Kurenai would be a good example of this, or beginning of Shippuden Neji.

1-4 ~ A somewhat seasoned Jonin, capable for most missions and on the verge of being capable of leading a squad. Shippuden Shikamaru is a good example of this tier.

1-3 ~ Your average Jonin level combatant, seasoned enough to run a squad of their own freely or to go off and do their own thing.

1-2 ~ You're already a cut above the rest. You're in the upper echelon of what a village may have to offer, in terms of Jonin. There are still Jonin above you no doubt, but they are men regarded as legends. Asuma Sarutobi, or Yamato is a good example of this tier.

1-1 ~ Upper echelon of Jonin, these would be weaker members of the Akatsuki in Canon or your pinnacles of Jonin in the series. Land of Waves Kakashi and Zabuza, as well as Shippuden Hidan would fall in this tier roughly.

[TIER 0/S / MASTER RANK]

0-5 ~ This tier is for the strongest of the strong, these are the men of myth. At this level anyone would be fearful of you. Good examples of this include Shippuden Kakashi, Kakuzu, Deidara, or even someone like Might Gai.

0-4 ~ This tier is earmarked for the best of the best, it is the bridge between Sannin and Legendary Jonin. Characters in this tier are more than viable candidates to lead a village at a moments notice, Often being where Kage begin their tenure, and many members of Akatsuki can find themselves here. Sasori, Orochimaru, Konan, Shippuden-Era Gaara, all fall solidly in this tier.

0-3 ~ Sannin and most Kage are a good example of this tier. Some of the upper echelon of Akatsuki could be listed here as well. Jiraya, Tsunade, Itachi, Pain, Obito, the Fourth Raikage, and Fourth Shinobi World War Kakashi are all excellent examples.

0-2 ~ This tier is for senior Kage, men who could be considered God of Shinobi, such as the 3rd Hokage and 4th Hokage. First Hokage and Madara would be on the upper echelon of this tier.

0-1 ~ God tier, akin to Naruto and Sasuke in the later days of the Fourth Shinobi World War and The Last. Don't even Ask.

Promotion

Event-Based Promotion

Certain threads and events may result in your character earning a tier increase. This is highly subjective and is determined by the needs of the plot, the importance of the thread/event, and other factors as determined by staff. If your character is eligible for an event-based promotion, staff will inform you.

Coin-Based Promotion

As you play your character, you may want to raise their tier. You can do so by using the coins that you accumulate over time. Please see the table below to see how many coins it takes to raise your tier.

Refer to the amount by each tier to determine the number of coins required to raise a character’s tier. This refers to raising a tier to the current row from the prior row (for example, going from 2-2 to 2-1 costs 900 coins.) To increase over multiple tiers, you must pay the cost for each tier you pass by. (For example, going from tier 2-4 to 2-1 costs 2550 coins; that is, 800+850+900 coins.)
